Launch of Heritage Angel Awards 2019

Ulster Architectural Heritage is pleased to announce Heritage Angel Awards will be launched on Tuesday 2nd April 2019, in Armagh and Belfast.

Posted on: 27th February 2019

Following on from the outstanding success of the previous two years’ Heritage Angel Awards, we are delighted to announce that the 2019 Official Launch will take place on Wednesday 2nd April.

Please join us at either the Palace Demesne, Armagh at 2pm or later at 6pm in the Old Museum, College Square North, Belfast.

The Awards which are supported by the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation and Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council will again celebrate the efforts of local people, either individuals or groups, who have recorded, researched, regenerated or rescued historic buildings and places. Our guest speaker is 2018 Award Winner Margaret Gallagher, MBE.

Join us and hear Singer Songwriters Brigid O’Neill and Anthony Toner perform a selection of material from Heritage in Song, an integral feature of the Awards Ceremony. Attendance at the launch is FREE and open to all, but booking is essential. BOOK NOW.

Last year saw some really inspiring entries, and we look forward to another year of celebrating the best heritage projects and craftspeople that Northern Ireland has to offer. Apply or nominate from 2nd of April at www.heriatageangelawards-ni.org.uk

The shortlisted entries will be invited to attend an awards ceremony on 29th October in the Market Place Theatre Armagh. This event will also be free and open to the general public, and a night of celebration and song; showcasing the wealth of talent, commitment and passion in the world of architectural heritage across Northern Ireland.
