W. J. Barre Lecture: A Life of Work – *Due to popular demand*

Due to popular demand, UAH are excited to announce we will be holding our *Sold Out* WJ Barre Lecture again on Thursday 21st July at 7pm, this time in the Old Museum Building.

UAH Chief Executive and author of W. J. Barre 1830-1867: A Vigorous Mind, Dr Paul Harron, will present this illustrated lecture on the life and works of this great architect. Newry born Barre is one of Ireland’s most prolific architects, despite his relatively short life. His most iconic buildings include Newry Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church, The former Provincial Bank at 2 Royal Avenue, Belfast, as well as the iconic Ulster Hall. The lecture will detail a chronology of buildings, as well as detailing his unique style.

Members £7.50, Non-Members £10. Includes wine reception upon arrival.
