Dr McParland, who is a Pro-Chancellor and Fellow of Trinity, had a distinguished career in the History of Art Deptartment at the College and is an eminent architectural historian who has published widely in his field and contributed immeasurably to conservation in Ireland. He was a founder of the Irish Architectural Archive and the Irish Landmark Trust. There could be no better guide to the buildings of Trinity.<\/p>\n<p>The tour will include buildings from the late 17<sup>th<\/sup> century (Rubrics) to the 21<sup>st<\/sup> century (STW\u2019s Business School) via the 18<sup>th<\/sup> c Printing House, West Front, Chapel, Exam Hall, and the Long Room); the 19<sup>th<\/sup> century (Lanyon&#8217;s Campanile, Drew&#8217;s Graduates Memorial Building and Deane and Woodward\u2019s Museum Building); and the 20<sup>th<\/sup> century (Berkeley Library).<\/p>\n<p>Meeting point: Main Entrance<\/p>\n<p>Tickets \u00a310 per person, does not include travel or lunch.<\/p>\n<p>There is also an exclusive opportunity for a limited number of non-members to join on this members event to experience UAH membership\u00a0 and its benefits.
