Trade Membership & Listing on the Traditional Skills Register

[tribulant_slideshow gallery_id=3]

Thank you for your interest in Trade Membership and the Traditional Skills Register. The Directory of Traditional Building Skills draws together a wide selection of those working in the fields of historic building conservation, ranging from architects, quantity surveyors to specialist sub-contractors.

The aim of the Traditional Skills Register is to create a directory for those requiring specialist works or works to a heritage property in Ulster and the island of Ireland; and to promote the importance of traditional building skills in the conservation of historic buildings.

The inclusion of a practitioner or company on the register does not indicate endorsement by the UAH of the practitioner or company, and should not be promoted as such by any practitioner or company featured in the directory. You can find full terms and conditions here.

To be included on the register, you must either be a Trade or Corporate member of the UAH, or have previously paid an administration fee for the listing. The annual subscription entitles you to inclusion on the register, and for your entry to be updated by UAH upon your request. The subscription fees support us to continue to our work in campaigning for Ulster’s built heritage, and to maintain and promote the Traditional Skills Register through events and printed materials associated with it. In addition to this, your membership entitles you to:

  • Regular news and events information;
  • Baseline advice and guidance on architectural heritage matters;
  • 25% discount on UAH publications;
  • 15% off bookings with the Irish Landmark Trust;
  • Members’ discount and priority booking for UAH events;
  • Invitations to participate in and attend FREE trade events;*
  • Discounted advertising rates in printed programme**

*Minimum of 1 trade event per annum.

** Subject to programming.
