Restoration & Renewal: Revitalising Our Townscape Heritage

Ulster Architectural Heritage, in partnership with Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council on Thursday 25th August and Thursday 15th September is running two specially tailored events relating to the revitalisation of our townscapes.

Posted on: 1st August 2022

The Restoration and Renewal: Revitalising our Townscape Heritage events will highlight the work of the Armagh and Lurgan Townscape Heritage (TH) Schemes which have transformed key buildings within the Armagh and Lurgan Conservation Areas, benefitting the direct and wider community.

The programme will celebrate the work of the TH Schemes and our built heritage and provide practical tips and skills that can be put to good use by owners and custodians of historic properties. Activities will include walking tours of the Townscape Heritage Schemes, heritage joinery advice, practical demonstrations, tips from architects and historic building owners and an introductory course in traditional signwriting. Events are targeted at, but not limited to, Council staff, professionals, local property and business owners.
