Waterloo Cottage, Larne

Members discovered a special coastal gem when they visited the Larne home of Rosie Ford-Hutchinson in June.  After delicious refreshments, attendees heard of the cottage’s history and enjoyed a walk along the Promenade with guide, Robert Stewart.

Many thanks to Rosie and her daughter Lucy for hosting such an enjoyable afternoon and to Robert for telling us about the history of the local area. Our thanks too, to Andrew, Anne and Norma who kindly assisted throughout the event.
