UAH Trip to Oxford

11th – 14th May 2026

Ulster Architectural Heritage Society members at Rousham House

In May, members enjoyed a full and varied itinerary during a three-day visit to Oxford, led by Primrose Wilson and her daughter, Lydia Inglis. Highlights included tours of Rousham House and Gardens near Bicester and Chastleton House in Moreton-in-March, as well as a lecture and tour of St. John’s College with Professor William Whyte and a city walking tour with Liz Woolley.

Many thanks to Primrose and Lydia for organising such an interesting and enjoyable programme, and to Alastair Rankin from the Events Committee for co-ordinating the event.

Photos taken on the trip and kindly shared by members can be viewed below.
