Heritage Arts Challenge: Launch Event
2nd September 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
FreeJoin UAH for a special online launch of our new project- the Heritage Arts Challenge! Find out more about the project, how to get involved, and meet our fantastic mentors who will be sharing some of their work, and what they will be looking for from your submission.
The Heritage Arts Challenge invites members of the public to create an art piece which encapsulates their favourite historic building or place in a medium of their choice. This could be through a drawing or painting, the written or spoken word, music or even a song. Your limit is your imagination! The project is open to anyone 16 years or over, and selected entrants will have the opportunity to work with specialist mentors who will help them to develop their work for display or performance at the Heritage Angel Awards 2021.
Our five mentors are: Belfast Exposed- Photography, Jan Carson- Prose, Brigid O’Neill- Songwriting, Marcus Patton- Drawing & Illustration, Padraig Regan- Poetry. The project is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
FREE and Open to All.
