20th Annual General Meeting

18th April 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

The 20th Annual General Meeting of the Ulster Architectural Heritage Society will be held in the Old Museum Building, 7 College Square North, Belfast on Wednesday 18th April 2018 at 7pm. This will follow on from the launch of Heritage Angel Awards at 6pm. Members are welcome to attend both events.

The agenda will be:

  1. Apologies.
  2. Minutes of the 19th AGM held on Thursday 23rd February 2017.
  3. To receive the accounts for the year ended 31st December 2017.
  4. To receive the Chairman’s report on the Society’s activities since the last AGM.
  5. To elect Officers and Members of the Committee.
  6. To appoint the Examiners.
  7. Any other business.

Under our Memorandum and Articles of Association, one third of the Committee retires annually and may offer themselves for re-election.  Members are invited to send nominations for these vacancies to me at [email protected], or the UAH postal address to reach me not later than 10am on Wednesday 18th April 2018. Nomination forms are available by contacting the office or downloading here: UAH_Committee Nomination Form_2018.

Minutes of the 2017 AGM can be downloaded here: UAH_Minutes of AGM 2017 and copies will be available on the evening along with copies of the examined Accounts.

There will be no guest speaker, as the launch of the Heritage Angel Awards precedes this meeting. Members are invited to attend from 6pm if they would like to attend both events. Our guest speakers for the launch of Heritage Angel Awards 2018 are two of last year’s winners – local business man Bill Wolsey and NI Mills enthusiast, Sebastian Graham. We will also be joined by singer-songwriters Brigid O’Neill and Anthony Toner, who featured in last year’s awards ‘Heritage in Song’.
