A Visit to Lurgan and Waringstown- Members Only.

August 10 @ 10:30 am - 4:30 pm

£29.00

**SOLD OUT** Ulster Architectural Heritage are pleased to announce an addition to the events programme, A Visit to Lurgan and Waringstown. Three architectural gems feature in this whole-day event. Woodville, (above) whose beautiful Georgian façade graces the cover of the UAHS publication Buildings of Co. Armagh; Brownlow House, the magnificent former home of the Brownlow family, designed by William Playfair, and Waringstown House, which, described by Charles Brett, “remains one of the finest buildings in the county; and indeed in Ireland”.

A sandwich lunch will be provided at Brownlow House, as well as morning coffee and afternoon tea at the other venues. At Waringstown House, in addition to having a talk on the house by the owner, there will be the opportunity to find out about the award-winning family-run business: ‘Harnett’s Oils’, which uses crops grown on the Waring Estate to produce a range of cold-pressed oils.
