Heritage: How To? Phase Two Launch

FreeUAH are pleased to announce the second phased release of our Heritage: How To? Guides, with an associated events programme. On Thursday 18th November, join UAH in celebrating the release of our next two How To? Guides: Maintain Historic Buildings & Harness Heritage Skills. Find out more about the Hands-On Heritage Project, a sneak peak at all ten Heritage: How To? Guides, the newly released Guides, further upcoming Hands-On Heritage Project events and an exciting lecture by Chris McCollum of McCollum Conservation, detailing the importance of maintaining historic materials.
The Heritage: How To? Guides will be released in four phases, with an associated events programme:
Phase One: Read Heritage, Record Heritage and Research Heritage
Phase Two: Maintain Historic Buildings and Harness Heritage Skills
Phase Three: Defend Heritage, Rescue Heritage and Reuse Heritage
Phase Four: Make Your Heritage Project Happen and Finance Your Heritage Project
Guest Lecturer:
Chris McCollum
Chris McCollum is a Chartered Building Surveyor, Accredited in Building Conservation (RICS) and works exclusively with historic buildings and structures. He leads an award-winning Building Conservation Practice “McCollum Conservation” and is motivated by his enthusiasm for the buildings and people he works with. His aim is to provide pragmatic expert advice where others see only problems or recommend excessive, damaging or unnecessary works.
